I love the bird dog exercise to activate the glutes, abs, and supportive back muscles.
However, it’s one of the most common core exercises I see done incorrectly.
Often, people arch the back and lift the head to try to get more motion.
Instead, focus on pulling the belly button towards the spine, squeezing the glutes, and starting with small motion.
This is one of my favorite ways to loosen up the hamstrings! Find a sore spot and bend and straighten the leg until that spot feels better. Move on to as many spots as needed!
Sometimes it is difficult to unwind, let go of work, and just enjoy where you are:) This dolphin tour was exactly what I needed!
